Happy Monday ♥

So, I went back to the Botanical Gardens on Saturday with my new lens – it went OK.

I will definitely take my tripod next time thanks to some advice from a fellow blogger. I found I had a lot of shots that were just a little blurry & a tripod would sharpen them up. It was really windy too so only a third of my shots turned out.

I didn’t managed to get any Butterfly photos – they were way to active even at 9.30am in the morning – maybe the Queensland warm weather? I did capture some Ladybirds, Caterpillars & this bug I’ve never seen before (to come). Anyways I love the composition & colours in the 3 photos below – let me know what you think!

A third of your pictures? Thats pretty good. My holding ratio (keepers) is usually less than 10%. Ultimately, I keep less than 1 or 2 percent. Ansel Adams once said that if he made ten good pictures in a year, he had a great year. You are well ahead of us… :)

Oh. I never delete anything. They are sort of a record of my work. I look at the bad stuff to remember what NOT to do. :) But, then I’m old school. We never threw away negatives.
