Thank you Gary for taking the time to give me all those tips & tricks. Yes I didn’t have my tripod with me but it could of helped me a lot. I do realise that the raindrops could be a lot sharper then they are. I will have another go with my tripod & a remote release next time it rains. Thanks again.

Didn’t read what you have written … about taking photos of raindrops – what I have been told we need to take photos as we would have taken night shots. But I’m not an expert … just playing around with a powerful compact camera. Can see that you have got some good advice here.
