Peach Roses (3)

These Roses are basically the last of the flowers at the Benowa Botanic Gardens. I am not to familiar with gardening & the right seasons for different flowers but I am guessing Roses can withstand the colder Winter months? Raindrops

I took these photographs after the rain at the Benowa Botanic Gardens. There were raindrops everywhere & the droplets on these leaves caught my eye. None of my photos really worked – I struggled to get both the raindrops & the leaves in focus. I really love the strong colours & the compositions in these shots though. Yellow Flowers (1)

I went back to the Benowa Botanical Gardens the weekend after it rained to find majority of the flowers had gone. It was the 1st day of Winter here in Australia on Saturday & the gardens are becoming so bare. Rose Garden (4)

The Rose garden at the Benowa Botanic Gardens was designed by the local Rose Society & features various Roses to suit our climate here in Queensland, Australia. I visited the Rose Garden on a very rainy Saturday morning & like I mentioned in last weeks post I had 5 minutes where the rain had stopped pouring to race around & capture some photographs.
